Originally from Hot Springs, Arkansas, Dani has an MFA in Creative Writing-Poetry from UNR Lake Tahoe (formerly Sierra Nevada College) and is a graduate of Hendrix College, where she studied English-CW.

Currently, Dani is Senior Poetry Editor at Sierra Nevada Review and manages social media for Okay Donkey and Lit Match Collective. She teaches college comp and conducts ABA therapy in Norfolk, Virginia.

Her poetry, essays, and book reviews have appeared in Sierra Nevada Review, Sangam, The Talon Review, ONLY POEMS, infinite↓scroll, A Thin Slice of Anxiety, and elsewhere. Through her writing, Dani aims to foster a sense of unity with her readers.
